About Tierra

Tierra Barber is the Founder & Owner of B. Elevated Candle Bar. She is a proud mom of two daughters, Adlaia and Tova, and a dog mom to Kobe. In her spare time, Tierra enjoys spending time with Jesus, whether it's attending bible studies, church services, reading and studying the word, or singing worship songs with her children. She also loves traveling and trying new foods and restaurants, as well as working out and attending sporting events.

Born in Los Angeles, California, and currently residing in Houston, Texas, Tierra shifted from her role as a coach and athletic director to entrepreneurship to set her own rules and create a lasting legacy for her children. She was drawn to fragrance due to her lifelong appreciation for various scents and a desire to create a better quality candle for her youngest child's sensitivity to smells and toxins. Her passion for candle-making grew into a business aimed at providing memorable scent-driven experiences for couples, friends, and families.

Tierra operates a successful storefront in the prominent River Oaks District of Houston, where her classes serve all markets. Thanks. She manages a full staff and is looking to expand further. Tierra holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas and firmly believes that her faith in Christ has been fundamental to her success.
